Come as you are...
Enjoy the study, the work, and the companionship. An exciting week of cello exploration for adult learners of all levels. The week culminates in an informal concert on Friday afternoon. There is no audition. In 2009 we will be expanding: more teachers, and there will be a beginner class. Also expanded learning opportunities for those with more cello experience . . . perfect for Suzuki parents who want to hone their skills!
During your breaks Wellington Village offers a variety of cafés and pubs from Thyme and Again (casual eat in/take out) and The Table (vegetarian buffet) to more luxurious repasts and parks for picnicking and many interesting shops and galleries for browsing. The Ottawa River is a 15 minute walk away.
A few comments from 2008, our inaugural year:
"This is a wonderful idea, making music in the lazy, warm, summer days . . . you are an amazing teacher who has inspired me so much."
"I had a fantastic time and look forward to the next cello boot camp!"
"What a treat and retreat from work; I've really enjoyed the inspiration and advice ..."
